Futehally Chemicals (Pvt.) Limited
Futehally Chemicals was established in 1957, incorporated in 1960 by (Late) Mr. Muqbil Ahmed Futehally, a cotton merchant. The company was amongst the first in Pakistan to manufacture finishing chemicals for the fledgling textile industry, and as such supplied these products to all the major textile mills in the country.
In 1960, Futehally Chemicals started manufacturing “Surf” detergent powder for Lever Brothers Pakistan Limited (now Unilever Pakistan Limited), a relationship that is in its 60th year of continuation. From 1977-1988, the company had a Joint-Venture agreement with Ciba Geigy, Switzerland. Today, the company is 100% family-owned and professionally managed, and has established itself as a leading provider of outsourced manufacturing solutions, with a customer base of reputable local and multinational clientele and household brand names.
